The lonely mountain

The lonely mountain

A Poem by Sarah
"

A poem made from the begining of the hobbit..

"

Far over the misty mountains cold,

Through out the villages its story is told.

Its torches blaze with dragon’s breath,

But in every story there must be death.

Two dungeons deep and caverns old,

They fought to save their forgotten gold.

No help would come from the elves,

When they fought until the end of themselves.

Across the lands the dwarfs did walk,

Of the lost king the villages did talk.

The prince remembered his men in their graves,

He never forgot and he never forgave.

I was ok until you got to the lost king and the prince. Excerpts can be confusing if you don't know the background. Was the lost king one who died in the caverns? Who is this prince and did he do the killing?

I like this a lot. All the rhyming went together real smoothly :)
