love and wonder

your lovely eye
passes o'er my face
in smooth belief
of what i am

in trusting wisdom
you breath my name
as honorable as your own
in love and praise

bound tight against me
by sweat and skin
the sheets entangle us
binding us to our bed

time ceases to exist
as the ocean becomes
what was once our heartbeat
and the sky above us
melts in adoration

as we are bound together
we are free as well
and our minds intertwine
as tightly as our limbs

do not let me go
simply hold me tighter
and slowly i shall melt
and become who you are

infinitely we lay
without time or space
as the world ceases to exist
and our bodies follow suite
