A New Day

I wrote this after having a terrible day.

Tired eyes, rest easy knowing that tomorrow will

be a new day.

Tomorrow the sun will shine brighter,

the flowers will bloom wider,

and the birds will fly higher.

Just because one day was cloudy does not mean

that they all will be.

Rest easy knowing that you can only go up from

here. Lose yourself in a deep slumber, the

refreshing kind that numbs you and

leaves you rejuvenated in the morning.

Rest easy knowing that tomorrow will be better

and even if it isn't,

there's another tomorrow to follow.
