A Few Attempts at Haiku...

A Few Attempts at Haiku...

A Poem by Katrina
"

I saw one, and was inspired to finally give it a shot. They're somewhat addicting to write, so there's more than one. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

"

Reassurance

All of the right words

Just what I wanted to hear

Comfort takes over.

Writing

Emotion pours out

Struggle, tears, smiles, and laughter

I inhale once more.

Lullaby

Sing me those sweet words

Along with that melody

Now, kiss me goodnight.

Replaced

Feeling rejected

How easy you've forgotten

I was your best friend.

My Legal Drug

An ultimate high

As it runs through all my veins

Kiss me once again.

Cool Haiku's

Posted 16 Years Ago

the haiku's work ... origional haiku's were ment to be about seneary and such not as muc emotional ties... i think americans generally disregard this rule and thus i enjopyed your haiku's... my favorite one is the last one 'My legal drug"... well writen and easy to understand... good job and keep it up.
