the night the cookie crumbled

the night the cookie crumbled

A Poem by Robert

its been a couple days since the accident

my harmony was distinguished in a bright beautiful light

when the light dimmed my eyes bloody-ed and brusied look

they see fresh grass, dark dirt, and grey small smooth pebble

i reach to pick up the pebble...

nothing...

confusion, my head fixed on the pebble as my heart beat rises

dont look,

everything is fine,

its just broken, its just broken, its just broken

something cool touches my cheek, it chills to the bone

i look

ABORT!

ABORT!

ABORT!

my brain OVERLOAD     SYSTEM SHUT DOWN

...

...

...

clear... clear... my eyes blink as they CLEAR!

electricity fires through my body, panic, ADRENALINE

i try to move but my body is to damged to move

this vessel is broken but its spirit is strong

its pure and begining to catch up

beep, beep, beep

silence the deafening heart beat in my ears slows

this is my body this is my life
