Rises prominently
In the onyx sky

Her beauty glowing
Illuminating the earth
With a bluish hue

The world shrouded
In midnight magic
And in intriguing mystery

Dreamscapes form
Universes of wonder
To explore nightly

An escape from reality
All worries drift away
Easing the tensions of the day

It is nice when the dead of night takes control of the skies. For those not sleeping the sky is to be marvelled and wondered at. I'm holidaying in Crete at the moment (back home Sunday)and the sunsets are magical and the night skies as dark as I've ever seen
