Reflection of the past

Thoughts of you crept into my mind today
With an overwhelming feeling of love
I send the splendor to you, and let it fall away

Memories slowly snuck up on my mind
Showing vivid paintings of the lost past
i sent the images to you and put them behind

A song filled my ears releasing warm tears
Causing an overflow of mixed emotions
I sent the music to you and held you near

Dreams of you floated with my sleep
Allowing me to smell your desirous scent
i sent you these movies from slumber for you to keep

Passion is still felt in the beat of the heart
Warm teardrops wash and revitalize the soul
But then deep within slumber the dreams do start

A very lovely work, Kristina. While I'm one to be a little put-off by not capitalizing "i" in literary works, it isn't damning to the essence of your poem. This poem feels very smooth and moves fluidly, having something very colorful and sublime that I find appealing.

Longing and romantic in a sad but hopeful sort of way. Its like taking that music box down form the shelf winding it and then hesitating before letting it spin, knowing its only gonna cause a stir.....or a flutter and most definitely a tear. Nice stuff.

I like that you shared these moments with the one you love rather it was a thought, feeling, music or the passion in your heart. This shows lovers can be friends and friends can become lovers. It also shows the many levels a person can touch our life when it comes to love and how it is possible to spend an entire day thinking about them because everything reminds us... of them if we have a deep enough history with.. them.
