Hypnos' Lullaby

Hypnos' Lullaby

A Poem by Poetic Beauty
"

creative poetry, free flow

"

Oh, sing to me a lullaby

Hypnos, god of dreams

Lull me to sleep

With your hypnotic ways

Give me whimsical scenes

That dance upon the night

Shower me with stars

And moonbeam’s silver light

Sprinkle me with slumber

That plays a forgotten tune

Envelope me with wonder

As romance begins to sway

Call out my name

Making eyes grow heavy

Soar across the sky

Singing your enchanting lullaby

It is bout time someone praises the sandman for doing his job. For without sleep we would go insane.
