I do believe.

That you can’t see how much I care.

I do believe

You are afraid I will deceive.

And choose to give your love elsewhere.

The truth is sometimes hard to bear.

I do believe.

 

 

I wonder why.

We disagree

Yet we remain the best of friends

We disagree.

Each of us sticks stubbornly

To points of view we can defend

And have no intention to amend

We disagree.
