Limited LibertyA Poem by poeticpiersSonnet in tetrameterLimited The sun reflects from whitewashed walls. At noontime when the sun is high. Though later when the twilight falls He moon will rise to rule the skies. The blazing sun, his duty done Has sunk beneath the western sea. The stars appear one by one. They add an air of mystery. The softer light Selina casts Allows the shadows out to play. Although their freedom only lasts Until the birth of a new day. The sun will rise in majesty to end the shadows liberty.
