Paradise

Paradise

A Poem by Miss Peter

I guess I always wanna explain my mind

A face people sometimes fail to see

A smile often misunderstood

Streams of thoughts, never ending

Questions and talks are my security

But I'm not broken, I'm not mad.

I'm just somewhat different inside my head

So welcome to my paradise

Do you want to camp with me

Yes welcome to my paradise

Your stay will always be free

Welcome to my paradise

It's complicated for me to be free

I guess I scare off some people

With weird direct honesty or details I see

Or cluelessness about my inner me

The doubts of unwanted calculations

My reading your body patiently

Help me learn and I hope I return

Whatever it is you see in me

Be patient and be kind

And I hope there is much to find

Cause I'm not broken, I'm not mad.

I'm just somewhat different inside my head

So welcome to my paradise

Do you want to camp with me

Yes welcome to my paradise

Your stay will always be free

Welcome to my paradise

It's complicated for me to be free

Quick jokes when I'm not sure

What it is you you want me to do

Slow stares into your soul

When I'm starting to defortify

Put me at ease for my loudest silence

Have patience for all my senses

Or talk to me about your inner desire

Feel free to run before the stakes get higher

But I hope you and I are gonna be friends

Y’ know I'm not broken, I'm not mad.

I'm just somewhat different inside my head

So welcome to my paradise

Do you want to camp with me

Yes welcome to my paradise

Your stay will always be free

Welcome to my paradise

It's complicated for me to be free

I guess I always wanna explain my mind

For I want people to see the real me

When I’m happy and I’m at ease

However hard it may always be

Those who succeed mean the world to me
