Something caught my eye the other day

While sitting here all alone in the rain

It's hard to fake a smile

Finally the truth comes out

My torn up heart is begining to be whole

It's patching up, as I fall for you

 

Even the stitches

Can't withstand how my heart feels for you

 

I stay out in the rain

Deep into thought about you

 

My torn up heart is slowly healing

I just wish, someone could stop me

Into a long time period of falling down

 

I'm falling, falling, falling for you

 

Sadly it could never be

So alone in the rain, I'll stay.

It's very interesting, I think it's lovely. It creates a vivid mental picture of a girl sitting on a wall in the rain just thinking about this guy and how she is reluctant to fall for him for fear of being hurt...again. It's a wonderful story told in a flowing poem. Great write!

A little glimpse into a soul soaked with the confusion and onset of feelings for someone special. I wonder why it can never be... maybe it's just my opinion, but I think if things are supposed to be... then they will work out just that way. When love is the involved.. you just never know how it will work out, but it will. Love is love.
