HAPPENS FOR YOUR GOOD.

Author's Note

Prateeksha Khot
This is the last line from my poem HOPE. And for me it is really important , because when things seem to go against my wishes I remember THIS LINE and trust me, later it turns out that whatever happened was indeed in some way in my best interests.

There is no reason or meaning to life though... I guess my constructive criticism for this piece would be... you made no compelling argument other than saying it is so and expecting the reader to just go along with you. Perhaps if you gave examples of how this has worked out in your life, and compiled a little list of proofs... I just know in my life, everything works out for other people's benefit at my expense, so maybe everything happens for your good in your life, but that doesn't make it a universal rule... because I can attest, that isn't true in my life, despite how many times I have wanted and longed for that very statement to be true... despite how much I wanted to and did believe. Overall a pretty good poem, just once again a bit short... make your case as to why you believe this to be true, what has happened in your life to justify your claim, and then explain why you think it applies to everyone. In my opinion, if you did those things, this would easily by a poem worthy of a 100/100 rating.
