Honourable man

Honourable man

A Poem by prema

                               Honorable Man
Let us honor if we can
The man who withstood the tremor
Though we value none
But those who buried under the EARTH.

Let us honor if we can
The man who braved the storm
Though we value none
But those swept away by the   WATER.

Let us honor if we can
The man who endured the heat
Though we value none
But those perished in the FIRE.

Let us honor if we can
The man who faced the wind
Though we value none
But those swayed by the AIR.

Let us honor if we can
The man who reached heights
Though we value none
But those who are limited by the SKY.

never heard anything so-called "Good" 'bout us men esp. from ladies since long, perhaps.. now as i'm reading, feel... quite bewildering. every stanza of yours speaking an every 'nutter course of reality. these might've been those men who reached beyond horizons, & of course, ain't negotiated treating women right. kinda very deep and intriguing poetry it is.

looking forward to reading your work!
