Insomnia
It's all I've known and while I've grown
It's made me a
Cynic, and I'm tired, but it's just the way I'm wired
At least that's what I thought
But with you it seems it's not

'Cause when I know you're next to me
Somehow I fall asleep
And every time I check to see
I'm in even more deep

I never thought I'd write a sappy love song
I never thought I could be happy this long
You're the anchor to my ship at storm
The fireplace that keeps me warm
The ear that somehow doesn't fall off
When I talk way too long
So don't oppose, my eyes won't close
Until I write this sappy love song

Not meant to be
We cry and fight, try to find what's right
You might think I'm crazy, now you're tired
It's so late and I'm still wired
But you love what you got
So you guess it's worth a shot

And when you put your hands around me
I couldn't feel more safe
And you can put your trust in me
Because you know I never cave
