That guy looks like a rapist! whispered my friend.
I turned my head only to find a dark skinned construction worker staring at us. I resumed my original position and sat still. What am I supposed to tell her? That I live with a rapist everyday? And he is a fair skinned stereotypically handsome guy with a superb lexicon. That educational background, family wealth and physical features are no criterion for an assaulter. And that he is my husband!
Why are you sweating woman?
Because a rapist ruptures my womanhood everyday , my brain screamed. Nothing , it's just too hot out here. Let's leave!
