Frivolous Fire

Frivolous Fire

Dancin' to the rhythm of the beat

Unchanging love for everyone they meet

No remorse

No guilt

No pain could they feel

Frivolous Fire

Bend to their will.

The screams so loud

A petrifying sound

They danced

They yelled

Oh, the joy they felt!

No remorse

No guilt

No pain they could feel

They had claim of all that was ill

Playing games

Loving everyone they met

No one could understand the Joy they possessed

They danced, and laughed

No worries as they spent

There very last day

Playing with Frivolous Fire

No remorse

No guilt

No pain did they feel

As Frivolous Fire consumed their young hearts...

Mothers wept

Holding on to one another

They cried silently

Couldn't blame one another

The fire was still

Laughing

Joyously at their pain

And as one Mother faced the terror she felt

She saw her lost child so happy still

Frivolous Fire began a new game

Giving back the love that they all craved

The Mothers Danced and rejoiced

At the illusion

With their children they danced...

Bending the will of the Frivolous Fire.

Dull. Over-used cliches, over-used metaphors. About as original as dry toast.
