It saves a lot of wrinkles and time wondering why.

First off, I had to sit & think about your first line a while. Ugly truth vs bold lie . . . for a minute I could not distinguish between these two ideas. It's as if normal distinctions have become so muddied, I'm not sure how to recognize truth or lies anymore. And the next thing that came over me while reading is how it feels almost like rape when we discover a bold lie, especially from someone we thought we could trust. exactly! the truth may hurt but it must be dealt with and accepted no matter - what other choice do we really have? when we are lied to it is like being raped - it can cause very deep harm and scars and give rise to other lies soon spreading like wildfire. living a lie and hiding truth is not good for anyone. acceptance, understanding, compassion and dealing with it are key as hard as it may be. lies are so destructive and infect like a virus. thanks for relating margie.
