Liar, Liar, Situation Dire

A Poem by Pete

Be wary of technology; it is often merely an improved means to an unimproved end. - Thoreau

Image result for infected computer

In desperate need of a virtuous vaccination to protect myself from a computational coronavirus.
Not to mention incessant popups from the likes of Miley Cyrus.
Not wanting to drive down the information superhighway in an unsightly vehicle.
The errors of my ways frozen and critical.
A gaggle of scantily clad lasses peer through the 'Windows' of my informational abode.
Promising me a mother load.
Trying to massage my software into hardware.
Phishing for my virgin bits and bytes.
The PC police failing to read me my wanking, cyber rights.
Nothing seems to solve the growing problem.
Not even a malware blocking condom.
Their video card viagra  keeps penetrating deeper and deeper.
Reduced prices teasing ever cheaper.
Unsolicited  foreplay stroking my floppy like a flash drive peeper.
I guess it's buyer beware.
In a corrupted world of perverted, pimped spyware.
I've  even tried to polish the 'Chrome' of my online ride.
The only thing left in my pilfered bank account being foolish pride.
Too bad Bill Gates lied ...

This is a sublime blend of the computational with the recreational! You maxxed out your limit of zingers on this one (too many to list) & you might be putting Jacob out of business when it comes to the extended metaphor *wink! wink!* I've always wondered why the senders of unwanted rubbish (popups & spam) never figure out that this approach does not work to generate biz (so what exactly are they trying to generate?) Software --> Hardware might be the best burst of originality & I'm thinking of stealing it becuz it would make a great poem just focused on that little hunk of delight (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
