Azure Anthem

Azure Anthem

A Poem by Pete
"

The Heavens are as deep as our aspirations are high. - Thoreau

"
Dreamy Blue Background by SounDall | VideoHive

flanked by floating angels
gravity an afterthought
motioning upward to acknowledge god
with ecstatic smile and diligent nod

effortless flying cantabile fingers aflare
making catgut sing
plying galvanic twanger string
making them do everything

ambrosial spotlight
haloed faces aglow
faith's possibilities so bright you need sunglasses at night

he was just doing what he loved
unconsciously in cobalt
with his bestowed gift
a living, breathing anthem
conjuring heavenly riffs
an unequivocal verdict of azure destiny
a reinforcing reminder of cerulean what ifs
