indite me with a poem
give it a pointy hat and beard as it watches over me like a gnome
write it in moral blood
inundate me with an emotional, flash flood
decorate my soul with the inflorescent cognizance and pulchritude of a timeless, cozy, posie bud
awaken my drowsy spirit with a thunderous thud
save me from the inescapable mire and dire mud

verse it royally
tend and water it loyally
breathe depth and gravity into the words like a lunar crater
put it in my empty pocket
be careful not to crease it
save your thorny roses for my grave
when the meaning is greater

i'll read it later
