Swinging Wide The Door

Swinging Wide The Door

A Poem by Pete

The pleasure we feel in music springs from the obedience which is in it. - Thoreau

it can wail just as easily as sing
'round and 'round in circles
a foot nailed to the floor
matters not, as long as one hand is strumming
the other turning a chord's knob
swinging wide the door

Music is so spiritual and touches our souls deeply
