The curse of Endymion.

The curse of Endymion.

A Poem by puddles2splash
"

Based on the love story of Selene and Endymion.

"

She ties me up,

I lose myself to what she is not,

She cuts me loose,

Yet I’m still tied up in knots.

Oh Selene!

Like a storm she looms breathing heavily,

Lurking in bewildered fogs,

She strikes all at once and jolts the horizon

And sinks to the bottom like a burning cog.

Bright as day and mysterious as night,

What starts as vivid bursts ends as smeary trite,

She watches and waits for all that is doomed,

She wallows and weeps, and spits out a croon.

Oh Selene!
