Bullets Of Passion

Bullets Of Passion

A Poem by Pumpkin Girl

Gun in hand
Your words are like bullets
Plunge through my heart
Pushed myself away
Forsake you out of fear
The intense silence slowly choking us
Fell into the depth of guilt
Crawling away from your grasp
Ran away from your painful remarks
You became a distant memory
Found me in a better place
Your craving for revenge
It's overwhelming
Gave me a bouquet of roses
Hid a gun
Shot me in the heart
Heard the last words I'd ever hear
Instant regret flows through you
I became a lasting scar
Forever to haunt your conscience

This is deep, but this is good. I really like this, and the image is understandable. Easy to read, and yet, carries a heavy message. Well done.
