the caterpillar

the caterpillar

A Poem by purple-aftermath

Caterpillar crawls on a leaf,
leaving a dewy trail.
It eats all it can,
and the leaf gets smaller.
It hums a song of joy,
and it builds a cocoon.
It will turn into a butterfly,
and it will fly above the trees.
It will play a along,
with a happy song.
The butterfly will fly past mars,
and it landed in a field of red.
