"
I have a towel on the floor,
and a comb in my hand.
We are dressed in black,
and I can see your wings.
Taps plays in the distance,
setting the mood.
I wish you were here,
telling your jokes,
but all I have is your dog.
Dakota’s mine now,
I will keep him now that your gone.
The memories fade back,
and Dakota licks my face.
Your dog misses you dear,
but with him,
it’s like your here.
So as hard as it is to say,
I miss you.
