waiting for the sun

waiting for the sun

A Poem by paul sal.....

                                               Sitting in my shed
                                               looking through the door
                                               listening to Harry Chapin
                                               lamenting the
                                               empty side of life
I look thru the bare trees
                                               waiting for the sun
                                               the moon ridicules my efforts
as I wait for the leaves to grow
                                               I will win the argument
because spring has all but sprung.
