Stardust

Stardust

A Poem by Jofer Serapio
"

Rain did bring out the poet in me.

"

Morning brings out night

Darkness steals the light

It all seems awfully strange

When the sun in clouds hide

The dawn has finally died

Cold and frostbitten

Spirits are dampened, faces are saddened

December is a mile far away

Souls drone on lazily

As we drift on dreams a misty

Looking for Apollo’s chariot rider

In the winds, broke many a barriers

This site is too inappropriate

Nearing summer, he should be out and about

Spreading joy as his name we shout

Alas! He could not be found

Not when Frost ahs been unleashed and is around

Hope is about to lose its wick

Though we still believe

In stardust dreams, we still live
