Not Just a Memory

Not Just a Memory

A Poem by Jofer Serapio
"

love fever... XD

"

The sun in your eyes

The sky’s burning surprise

They all let me know

How your love is so

You make me want to fall again.

The gold at a rainbow’s end

Reminds me of how you tend

To my childish wounds and scars

Tell-tale souvenirs of past wars

You are my saviour and treasure.

If I could die for you, I would

You are happiness no matter the mood

Never leave me, my heart’s forever song

Stay here with me, where you belong.

We will never be just a memory.

So full of love and so gentle...

The last stanza is my favorite.

Stay here with me, where you belong.

We will never be just a memory.

Excellent composition.
