Sparks and Butterflies

Sparks and Butterflies

A Poem by queensonvia

When I see you
All of me goes numb

From head

To toe

And a wispy tornado
of butterflies
swirls in my
stomach

Funny.

This happens not only
In our sensual moments

More so in everyday life

With every gesture unique to you
My heart  e x p l o d e s

Sparks spread in my body
And out my fingertips

The way you walk
The way you talk
Pure perfection

I've fallen hard
The impact oh, so sweet

The best and worst part:

What goes on inside is hidden away
With no way to truly express

But

See a smile or smirk on my face
And then you'll know

The storm of sparks and butterflies is raging
And it's there to stay

I guess this is a start...if you have not penned in a while...this was not too bad a read...the butterflies kept me in it to the end...I usually go back and reassess the verse and see what can be do to make or break the write...

Howdy ya'll :) I'm Sonova and I am quite an interesting person to say the least. I honestly don't write that much because I'm mainly an artist. I pretty much only write when I really feel it. more..
