A glass of wine before bed. I admire such a common picture captured so tidy in poem. "Less is more" is a real thing here.

And i love the sweet little rhyme at the end. 😊

I love the way you tie together a collection of some recognizable relatable ideas that are connected by being part of a rosy view of life. I love the way you use the rose color in a variety of ways. Barley Girl you are the best! ride that burro honey ride!! i'm with you 100% ...it is way too distressing and is making everyone mad and sick of it ... blah blah blah ... news people and most politicians think we are so stupid ... let the vote decide ... the hell with vitriolic rhetoric ... facts and acts are what count! i am in my jammies ... had me coffee ... took out the doggies ... its a glorious pre-dawn day ... soon enough leaves will be off our forest trees that i will be able to see the dippers ... they remain obscured all summer ... but venus and you are always their dear friend ;)
