Seedlings

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

Exterminate.
forest rainbow leaves, fall and
open thickened skins to winter
brittle arms creak ........ moan
grey red-brown coyote
tip toe trotting
another weaving thread
quick eyes glancing back
                                                                   gone
Solastalgia shackle shaking
shadow tree trunks pin drop silence
coyote pin ball clanging
clinging
ringing
"...the bells the bells the bells"
She decanted the best of me.
even a crooked tree
reaches skyward
moon and brown
muley eyes saccade
quivering a nightmare
rewilding stubborn as
an outrage
Outrage
alluring dark temptations
erase
Erased.

Dear Mr.E, sometimes we don't need to understand all the meanings of the written words, but to dwell and feel, overwhelmingly feel... the rhythm of Your lines stuck in my head, somewhere there You spoke to me of deep loss and deep pain, when I reached this "She decanted the best of me." with the important dot "." of it, I felt a little twinge in my heart, as if I was waiting to read this, for me this was You speaking to, of and for nature as "Your" nature, as if She is Your beloved one, in all the seasons, times, days or nights, You believe in her, and that she can rebirth, always she can.

Your words are like bold strokes of an artist's brush... every tercet and every couplet is swelling with colorful images and they grab your readers heart, " forest rainbow leaves, fall and open thickened skin to winter brittle arms creak... moan. Even a crooked tree reaches skyward". Are imprinted on my mind!

It is always a wonderful experience reading your marvelous thoughts, E. Have a very happy new year.
This truly is a trip to somewhere where nothing needs an excuse to merely be. No matter time, no matter light or darkness, life breathes and lights whatever the moment. Seems for me, that you've expressed the being of all things living, arrival, magnetism, memory, repeated over and over and over... tis Life, no matter who says it.. tis worthy for us to gather in armfuls and... love. Your best, perhaps.. perhaps because you feel so deeply about your existence and what walks with you hidden, visible.. magical. Reason doesn't matter, you, dear friend have spoken.. .. beautifully.

If or when one becomes stifled, an exasperating, suffocatin feeling, could be too crowded, dead end job, or simply too many weeds around preventing our own potential flower to bloom resplendent, then I believe the time has come to up sticks and anew again, somewhere more habitable and accommodating?

An excellent, abstract, metaphor marvellous, write my friend!

They don't hurt
for some reason I picture you peering quietly out your window into the lands beyond. I picture you caught in one of those rare moments where everything comes together, everything makes sense, no questions need asking no answers are given because all is just ... just.

This made me feel the exhale protrude from my lungs - the line spacings and minimalist words allowed me to sink and remind myself this gorgeous space you have created is here - it's here and so easy to find - we just need to remind ourselves to take the first step to see it.

this is what poetry is about...
open to a myriad of possibilities
perception, intrigue and a touch of teasing..
and from a single one, a great forest was born and true..... N x
