Via Insomnia (She Loves You)

Via Insomnia (She Loves You)

A Poem by Relvester
"

depressing but loving

"

you wake up in the middle of the night

out of breath while shadows veil your eyes

your heart is about to burst through your chest

an icy chill creeping down your neck

but when you look out your window
you look to the moon and all you see is her face

and if you listen to the stars you hear her name

her voice echoes in your mind, and it tells you you'll be alright

the symphony of your night

when you lie in your bed

your loving heart burns red

but the tears never cease from streaming down your face

it takes you to a dark and lonely place

but when you look out your window

you look to the moon and you see her face

and if you listen to the stars you hear her name

her voice echoes in your mind, and it tells you you'll be alright

the symphony of your night

she told you that she'd always love you

and you told her that you'd be together forever

but then that day came,

she got sick...you never left her side

but your hope began to fade

you did all you could, but an angel took your love away

and though you know that she'd always love you

she left your dreams cold and blue

but you look out your window

looking to the moon you see that pretty face

and to the singing stars you shout her name

her voice echoes in your mind,

and it tells you she loves you

the symphony of your night

she knows you love her too,

and with that you say 'goodnight'
