Star Fires

Star Fires

A Poem by Relvester

the sun goes down its time to count the colors on the sunset
look at the,
golden crimson clouds with purple bruises
oceans black reflecting lights out from the city
I'm high up on a cloud kissing all of the stars
but stars never kiss back, oh no
if i could make a wish for every kiss that ive given to a star,
id wish for you back
Id wish to hold you in my arms
the dark knight consumes all of the living
and though the lights seem brighter we resume our endless dreaming
this city always wakes up screaming
I'm high up on a cloud kissing all of the stars
but stars never kiss back, oh no
if i could make a wish for every kiss that ive given to a star,
id wish for you back
Id wish to hold you in my arms
WHOA-Whoa-WOE, is me
woe-o, is me
take a look at the night sky
and stare into the moon
and when i do
i cant help but to see right through
I only see you
(that night was the last night)
I only see you
(that night was the last night)
Baby OH!
I shot a rocket at the moon
(i filled it with the broken pieces of my heart)
I'll be joining you soon
(they'll write our names out in the stars)
last night was the last  night
last night was the last night ever
the moon and the night is
the moon and the night is OURS
