LIFE'S A PAINFUL THING

I see this world through my own two eyes, seein things happenin that make me wanna cry. I see life, I see death, I see so much that takes my breath away. life's something painful at best, but pause a moment and it might be your last

The world's a dark cruel place, life slaps you in the face when you think otherwise....... watch the world and you will see this is not the way its supposed to be. god never intended it to be like this, when he sees it he gets pissed.

you are right life is painful.....and can be very very painful.....yet pain is not the end,,,,darkness can never displace the light...it is the reverse.....what is important...I believe is how we interprete the pain around us.....what effect we allow ourselves to get from it...... having to repeat one of the verses is just cool.....your imagery is real......blessings

Yes it is true. Life is a painful thing. But then life can be just about anything too, not just pain. Who am I kidding, it is a painful journey but sometimes, it's totally worth it :P I agree with what Coyote Poetry said, this is a powerful write. This is your music, this is art. Well done.:)

The meaning comes through quite well but it was a bit difficult having to read through the whole thing as the 'usual' poetic rhythm seems hard to establish

i liked the poem, it had a nice flow but i just a tad too much repation. I loved it though, I think it's very powerful and it makes a statement. Life's hard cuz it's seperating the strong from the weak...or whatever it was that my uncle told me. I still applaud you on the topic.

I liked the poem and what you were trying to express, but it was confusing because it's not in the normal poem format and there were a lot of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Other than that, I thought it was great.

I agree, life is very painful. Things happen everyday that we can't control. We just have to live through it and watch our steps every where we go. My favorite saying is "when life gives you lemons, throw them at people" haha But great poem. :)
