Chisel.

Chisel.

A Poem by Aiza

Trapped here.
And I wait for the call that keeps me bound

But with each of my insecurities, you see right through me
I am captivated in those tiny moments with you, of you
You are everywhere I turn
I cannot get away
I am OK with that though, so don't you leave me now

We are too far from where we started, my love
We are too close to ever turn back
Don't you dare worry about me,
Don't you dare worry

I will be here when you return
I will stay and wait with a smile for you
Bring my laugh back to life in your icy blue eyes

Another chance will not be wasted at your expense, dear
Chisel at the shape of my heart

I remember you, all rolled up in my rug
The brightest of colors wrapped around
I wouldn't change a thing; I wouldn't want another way

Stay now,
And save that smile for me
