I Like Her Better

I Like Her Better

A Poem by Rainee Whiting

I Like Her Better

I like her better,
the one of stone,
she needs for nothing,
but to be alone.

I like her better,
she does not cry,
fearing love,
but not to die.

I like her better,
the other me.
The one in the mirror,
only I can see.

I like her better,
she refuses to feel.
She welcomes lashings,
that will never heal.

Thanks for reading me beautiful :)
A very good rhyming poem. Never fear love but embrace it with all. Look yourself in the mirror and be proud as you are. Excellent...:)..........
