Loved by ignorance

 

Attached to the thread of life,

Caught in between some dreams,

And reality of time,

What was it, love, hate, or maybe a bit of both?

Ignored by love, and now loved by ignorance.

 

Tide of time was slow,

Maybe it was looking for someone,

Someone who could wait for it a bit long,

Memories looked like its best partner,

But slowly they were dying too.

 

Eyes were holding on to something,

It looked like love, but it just let it slip,

Questions were raised,

But every answer was a silence,

A noise that could be heard only with closed eyes.

 

Knowledge takes you to places,

Ignorance lets you live that place with peace,

Everything around looks like a stream of emotions,

 Rain tries to fill the vacuumed spaces,

But time, it just stays there waiting.

'A noise that could only be heard only with closed eyes!' Loved it! Imagination comes in useful here! Great line. 'But time it just stood there waiting..' for the right one/the right moment to come along eh!
