Dagger

Dagger

A Poem by Randolf Ramos

In words, a dagger lies.
Of no way, a mortal could defend.
Stretched like an arrow and swiftly let go.
Of no way, a mortal could contend.

An hour thus may ripe a tale.
A grave, doth once we fared well.
Scars and bruises rot with the grave.
Often not a dead man's tale.
