They are Long Lost

They are Long Lost

A Poem by Sabbih Hossain

Only this barrier, this window,

Remains erected between you and me.
Can't touch you, but can see you,
Can feel you, your beginning.

That mixture of light coloured red yellow and black
On that horizon speak up,
Remind me of the mornings That are long lost!

This dawn, this wonderful sad colour of you,
Is fading away-
To welcome the heat, the pain, the sun.

This awful transition covers my mind
With the images of you, my Venice,
And whispers,
"They are long lost" ...

About
I'm a bit introvert by nature, at least they say. I love to criticize my own words and works, and then try to improve on it in my next step, as a human being. I am a person who knows what pain is, wha.. more..
