Trespassing

Trespassing

A Poem by C.L. Wilson
"

This was written for the Challenge 3 of the De Gustibus Non Est Disputandum group. So I had to use three words and they were elan, sanctum, and sibylline.

"

This sanctum
Is so calm
Peaceful
And alone

So many books
Fill the shelves
And line the walls
I’ve never seen such an elegant library

It isn’t mine
I’m only a trespasser
I could not have
Made something so élan

I just stumbled upon a door
That seemed so
Sibylline
And had to see what it was it hid

I wonder who left it behind.

Speedy!!! You were the first to finish this challenge at break neck speed...almost as soon as I posted it! I haven't even written one yet.......but you have set the bar indeed...with a very interesting take on the three words from De Gustibus Non Est Disputandum's word and or picture challenge----don't forget to put that in the description so people know which challenge you are taking on. So the three words were elan...sanctum and sibylline. I loved your interpretation --I felt a little like Alice in Wonderland...and was left wanting. I hate cliff hangers always have- I am one of those terrible people that read the last pages in a book because if my favorite character has died I want to prepare myself for the let down...lol lol Oh I am jabbering what I mean to say is yes I loved it but I wanted more...I wanted you to write on.....but alas it is for us to delve upon....and you have given me a wonderful idea for the next challenge. Great job!
