Sometimes I wonder if his intentions are pure or if he's just playing with me. I love joking around with him, but I wonder is he really the man I need?

is this superficial?
we play games
you're vulgar
i'm coy
we hide behind the armor
of our words,
does this really mean
anything? are we
going anywhere?
i'm just sick of trying to
find in the end
no one can withstand the
passionate threads
of my love
strung in the pearls of stars �"
you tease me
say it's fun to be belligerent
with me that i take
it well,
but every time you mention
the bedroom
i feel myself shutting down;
just because i sinned once
doesn't give me
an excuse to do it again  �"
i sit here wondering if
we should even bother
is this superficial
or will we last?
