Me and you, a future of two?

Me and you, a future of two?

A Poem by Rayzor
"

A poem about the differences between male and females

"
Men are always hearing "the rules" from the female side.
We have our pride. Will never see it as a lifetime guide.
We are not mind readers. Don't expect us to be.
It will only cause friction. Why can't you see?
Ask for what you want. The strongest hint do not work!
Just say it! I hate it when you look at me and see the jerk.
Come to us with a problem. Let us solve it. That's what we do.
But let us do it our way, if you want to see it through.
If you always know best how to do things, then do it yourself.
If not, then you better put the whole darn thing back on the shelf.
Christopher Columbus didn't need directions. Neither do we.
Trust us. Enjoy the ride. Keep quiet about it and let it be.
Oh, the romance. Walks on the beach. Together as a whole.
But to us, sometimes it is bringing along the fishing pole.
Live with it. Sometimes we are not thinking about you.
And it doesn't mean our relationship has lost its glue.
We are men. We ogle. It's genetic.
It's like with you...beauty and cosmetic.
If you think you're fat. Don't ask, you probably are.
The truth might hit me and leave me with a scar.
You're hard-wired to shop. For us, it's the Sunday sport.
Making you realize that, we might come up short.
Baby, you have enough clothes. You have too many shoes.
But on the weekends, going out, you have nothing to choose.
Us men. One shirt, one pant, one style, for any occasion.
Have you ever seen us go into wardrobe suffocation?
I have a thingy. If it itches, it wants me to scratch.
Maybe simply, but don't make it into a friction match.
Honey, let's work together. Putting our differences aside.
I'm your man, and yes, one day you will become my bride.
But until that wonderful future summer day.
Let's just have some fun and giggle in the hay.
Me and you.
A future of two.

"Just ask for what you want..." Is good advice. Girls need to know that it's ok to please themselves, without needing a shopping spree... I like the rhythm of this piece, Rayzor!
