Robins Sing

Robins Sing

A Poem by PegMan
"

Middle of the night walk, and I've heard regular robins for the past week. It was really quiet, with a dull hum of the city in the background. It was really easy to concentrate on the robin exchange.

"
Tonight I heard him gebe, gebe, gebe,
and the melody of her reply.

And I heard him from different places,
she gave it back again n' gain.

Really it sounded like she was lookin',
she seemed to sing desparation.
