A Self-Study

A Self-Study

A Poem by Robert L.

The cloud-dripped follicles on which you walk---

The scalp of the earth both muddy and soft---

You talk in tones clever and arabesque,

Your ruthless visage and vacuum demeanor

Bespeak volumes---encyclopedias--

On intentions and motives of the self.

Your feet must be soaked, socks just like sponges,

Dandelion seeds, all clumped and matted,

Adhesed to your shoes with blades of mown grass:

A veritable vector of causality.
