Gods Play Chess

Gods Play Chess

A Poem by Jeremy (J.C.K)

The lights go out while you lay down
Staring into the abyss thinking aloud
It is clear the show is over now
Confronted with the day you lived
Your mind tallying your sins
A flood of conscience
Getting easier as your heart opens
Closing it leads to a cancer
One that consumes until you answer
Everything you did can't be ignored
Don't you know both Good and Evil keep a score?
Like a game they laugh and play
"Which voice will they listen to today?"
