One Month Life Span

One Month Life Span

A Poem by Jeremy (J.C.K)
"

Inspired by butterflies, death, and rebirth

"
The butterfly comes out of it's cocoon
Ready to fly again
Waiting for the day
That it gets taken
You can only do so much
When you get your wings
Just to have them ripped
When the bell rings

And for whom the bell tolls, in our time and place, that is us all! I quite liked the blend and interplay of images and allusions. Thanks for sharing, Jeremy.
