confidence is like blood

without it you are sallow-faced

and slow

but with it you are bright-eyed

and you flow

 

being stabbed is like being insulted

and the happy drains out of u smoothly

soon you forget it was ever there

revival is heating up

like being called oh-so fair

 

with it you can do anything

lick your edge sharp blade

pass shame through just a look

without it you just have to stare

wide-eyed through your

wonder nook
