My Paint Bucket

My Paint Bucket

A Poem by Pokey

See my little paint bucket?
It's messy on the sides
with spots and dribbles
and on the inside
it's really black

Purple and green
with a dash of blue
go into my little pain bucket
dribbles of green
drip down the sides
and purple and blow make large spots
but on the inside
it's really black

Some white and yellow
with a bit of red
makes a horrible mess on the floor
in dribbles and spots
but on the inside
of my little paint bucket
it's really black

Some more blue and pink
and a neon orange
mix it all together
make tiny splatters on the wall
but on the inside
it's really black

all my pretty colors
purple and blue
green and red
orange and yellow
and a bit of white
mixed in my little paint bucket
doesn't make a puke purple
or a blueish orange
or a strange new color
inside of my little paint bucket
it's just really black

a poem I really enjoyed!!
here is the way i interpreted it....the paint bucket is a person. on the outside, the person seems full of life and enthusiasm adding color to the lives of the people he or she encounters. but really, inside, the person is suffering...

thats just how i viewed it anyway! lovely work!
