And she wouldn't take it off for quite a while - she said she wanted them to know what they'd done to Jack. What a horrible day that was! My parents loved President Kennedy very much. Dad took my sister and myself to watch his Inaugural Parade. It was a cold January day, but it was a very exciting one for all of us. I was only about 12 at the time. Your poem brings back many memories - Rebecca. I remember watching Ruby kill Oswald on our black & white TV. Thanks for your memorable poem, it means a lot to me.

This puts it all into perspective well. I read a chapter of Jackie Kennedy's book that described that day. It was so horrific. Good haiku from you Rebecca.

I've read that. She supposedly gave differing accounts at different times.
A touching and horrific piece that stabs at the reader, well done.
